The map was engraved under the direction of Rigobert Bonne (1727-1795) the Director of the Dept de la Marine in Paris and Royal Hydrographer to the King in Paris. It was published in “Atlas Encyclopedique” by Bonne and Nicolas Desmarest (1725-1815.)
